This sculpture depicts My Motherland as a strong, long-suffering woman at the moment of awakening. Her face is without emotion, stone-cold and determined, not driven by rage but by certainty. She does not hesitate and does not mourn.
She holds a sword as an instrument of judgment and cleansing. Before her are the fallen and the condemned. One lies dead, still clutching a crown and gold coins even in death. Another remains alive, broken and surrendered to fate. On her back she carries a child, the seed of future generations, whose face she does not hide, so it may witness truth from the beginning.
This work represents the end of silence, the end of patience, and the moment when justice is no longer delayed.
