Javjauk Crawler (Drekavac)

Javjauk Crawler, Javruk or in some Balkan regions called Juk,is a creature physically similar to Drekavac (Howler).Javjauk is named after a specific sound that he make.Lives in dense forests and swamps, he's about eighty centimetars high.Mean creature is very clever, he can seduce travelers to stray impassable forest areas and then scare them to death, in some regions elders says that they tickles victim to death.Likes to sneak up on farms and stealing chickens and small animals.In Negotin,eastern Serbia he attributed a series of wickedness that in unbaptized days, from Christmas to Epiphany, makes to households, starting from screeming and making noise, to pounding on the windows , he can to tangle horns of the buls and cows, to pierce the flour sacks and so on.He is afraid of blond children and people with blond or red hair, So on Christmas, in some rituals,children and young girls with blond hair are walking near the forests (some are placed improvised piece of straw) inflicts fear
