Forest Grandfather

Forest grandfather, great grandfather, or in some regions affectionately called Deda and Dedushka, is navish creature that inhabits deep and impassable forests of Helm. He has attributed qualities of a caring old man, healer, and forester, Ded takes care of trees throughout the vegetation and forest animals. Lives in the trunk of the oldest tree in the forest, he knows every blade of grass and knows her purpose, he is a teacher and patron of all shamans and healers. Without his words, nothing can germinate and flourish. During big winter or drought, sent by the gods, he multiplies the game for the purposes of hunting, directs the flocks to human settlements. Hunters never Hunt at a time when it is not hunting season, which could anger Grandfather of the forest. He is the shadow of Veles on earth, good for people and caring, but if you insult him he can be angry.
